- Ciudad Real Central Airport is located in Ciudad Real, Spain. It was built in 2008 and was intended to serve as a major international airport. However, due to various financial and operational issues, the airport has faced numerous problems and has struggled to attract sufficient air traffic. As a result, it has been largely abandoned and is currently not operational. There have been several attempts to revive the airport or repurpose it for other uses, but so far none have been successful.
