Metro Batavia

  • Metro Batavia Air (formerly known as Batavia Air) was an Indonesian airline that operated domestic and international flights from its primary hub at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. The airline was established in 2001 and started operations in 2002. It provided both scheduled passenger and cargo services.
  • However, Metro Batavia Air faced financial difficulties and ceased operations in 2013. The airline had experienced multiple incidents and accidents throughout its operation, which led to a decline in passenger numbers and financial difficulties. Since then, the airline has not resumed operations.
