- Manston is a small village located in the Thanet district of Kent, England. It lies about 2 miles (3 kilometers) south-west of Ramsgate and about 13 miles (21 kilometers) north-east of Canterbury. Manston is best known for its former RAF (Royal Air Force) military airfield, now known as Manston Airport. The village has a population of around 1,700 people.
