- Phillips Field airport is an airport located in Fairbanks, Alaska. It is a public use airport owned by the Fairbanks North Star Borough. The airport is primarily used for general aviation, but also has commercial service available. It is named after Wiley Post and Will Rogers, two famous aviators who were killed in a plane crash near the site of the airport in 1935.
