Cheap flights to Paro

  • Paro International Airport (IATA: PBH, ICAO: VQPR) is the sole international airport in Bhutan, located in the Paro Valley. Situated at an altitude of 2,235 meters (7,333 feet) above sea level, it is one of the highest airports in the world. The airport is known for its challenging approach due to its location surrounded by mountains. Paro airport is the main gateway for tourists visiting Bhutan and is serviced by a few international airlines like Drukair and Bhutan Airlines, connecting Bhutan to cities in India, Nepal, Thailand, and Singapore. Due to the limited number of flights allowed each day and the difficult approach, only a select number of pilots are certified to land at Paro airport.
