  • Olympic Dam airport, also known as Olympic Dam Airport, is a small commercial airport located approximately 550 kilometers (340 miles) north of Adelaide, South Australia. It serves as the main airport for access to the Olympic Dam mine, one of the largest copper, gold, and uranium mines in the world. The airport has a single asphalt runway and is primarily used for fly-in fly-out (FIFO) operations for mine workers and supplies. It is operated by the Olympic Dam Airport Corporation and is also open to chartered flights and general aviation.
