- Lovell Field, officially known as Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport, is a public airport located 5 miles east of downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. The airport serves as the main air transportation hub for the Chattanooga metropolitan area. It has a single terminal building and two runways, and offers flights to several domestic destinations, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, and Orlando, among others. The airport is named after Captain Arthur L. Lovell, a World War I aviator from Chattanooga.
