- Loring Airport, also known as Loring International Airport, is a former United States Air Force base located near Limestone, Maine. It was operational from 1952 to 1994 and was primarily used for strategic bombardment and reconnaissance missions during the Cold War era. After its closure as a military base, some portions of the facility were converted into Loring Commerce Centre, a business and industrial park.
