Metro Batavia Air (formerly known as Batavia Air) was an Indonesian airline that operated domestic and international flights from its primary hub at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. The airline was established in 2001 and started operations in 2002. It provided both scheduled passenger and cargo services.
However, Metro Batavia Air faced financial difficulties and ceased operations in 2013. The airline had experienced multiple incidents and accidents throughout its operation, which led to a decline in passenger numbers and financial difficulties. Since then, the airline has not resumed operations.
