Islas Airways

  • Islas Airways was an airline based in the Canary Islands, Spain. It operated scheduled domestic and international flights to destinations including the Canary Islands, mainland Spain, and Portugal. The airline was founded in 2002 and commenced operations in 2004. Islas Airways primarily operated a fleet of ATR 72 turboprop aircraft. However, the airline faced financial difficulties and suspended operations in 2012. It subsequently declared bankruptcy and its air operator's certificate was revoked in 2013.
