Denim Air

  • Denim Air was a Dutch airline that operated from 1996 to 2015. It started as a regional airline, primarily serving charter flights and wet lease services for other airlines. Denim Air had a fleet of various aircraft types, including ATR and Fokker planes.
  • In its early years, Denim Air focused on operating flights within the Netherlands and to nearby European destinations. However, it later expanded its operations and provided services to other airlines, including British Airways, KLM, and Scandinavian Airlines, among others.
  • In 2015, Denim Air ceased operations due to financial difficulties. The airline faced various challenges, including high operating costs and increased competition in the regional airline market. As a result, Denim Air filed for bankruptcy, bringing an end to its operations after almost two decades in the aviation industry.
