- Vodochody Airport, also known as Vodochody Air Base, is a military airport located in the town of Vodochody, near Prague, Czech Republic. It is primarily used for the testing and production of military aircraft. The airport has a long history, dating back to its establishment in 1916 during World War I. Throughout the years, it served as a major base for the Czechoslovak Air Force and later the Czech Air Force. Vodochody Airport is also home to the Aero Vodochody aerospace manufacturing company, which produces military trainer aircraft and other aerospace products.
