- San Javier Airport, officially known as Murcia-San Javier Airport, is located in the region of Murcia, Spain. It is situated approximately 17 kilometers southeast of the city of Murcia.
- The airport primarily served as a civilian airport for the region of Murcia and was one of the main gateways for tourists visiting the nearby coastal areas such as La Manga del Mar Menor. It was also used for military purposes by the Spanish Air Force.
- However, in 2019, the airport ceased operations to commercial flights and was replaced by the new Región de Murcia International Airport, also known as Corvera Airport. The new airport is located approximately 30 kilometers away from San Javier Airport.
- San Javier Airport still remains open for military activities and general aviation, while the new Corvera Airport serves as the main international gateway for the region.
