TACA Peru

  • TACA Peru was an airline based in Lima, Peru. It was a subsidiary of TACA Airlines and operated as part of the Avianca Holdings group. TACA Peru offered domestic and regional flights within Peru and to other destinations in South America.
  • The airline was founded in 1999 and started operations in 2000. It operated a fleet of Airbus A319, A320, and A321 aircraft. TACA Peru had a strong focus on providing high-quality service and safety to its passengers.
  • In 2013, TACA Peru merged with Avianca to form Avianca Peru, which is now the national airline of Peru. The merger allowed for improved route networks and increased efficiency in operations.
  • Although TACA Peru no longer exists as a standalone airline, its legacy can be seen in Avianca Peru, which continues to offer flights to domestic and international destinations from Peru.
