One Two Go Airlines

  • One-Two-GO Airlines was a low-cost airline based in Thailand. It was a subsidiary of Orient Thai Airlines and operated domestic and international flights from its hub at Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok.
  • The airline was established in 2003 and operated a fleet of primarily Boeing 747 and MD-80 aircraft. One-Two-GO Airlines offered affordable fares and served destinations such as Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore.
  • However, the airline faced a series of safety concerns and accidents during its operation. The most notable incident occurred on September 16, 2007, when Flight OG269, a McDonnell Douglas MD-82, crashed during landing at Phuket International Airport. The crash resulted in the loss of 90 lives, including the pilot and co-pilot. Investigations revealed that pilot error and poor crew coordination were contributing factors to the accident.
  • Due to safety issues and financial difficulties, One-Two-GO Airlines faced significant criticism and scrutiny. In 2010, the Airline abruptly ceased operations and suspended all flights. Since then, One-Two-GO Airlines has been inactive, and Orient Thai Airlines now operates all flights previously serviced by One-Two-GO.
