Malév airline was the national airline of Hungary. It operated from 1946 until 2012 when it ceased operations due to financial difficulties. Malév flew to various destinations both within Europe and internationally. It was a member of the Oneworld alliance and had its main hub at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. The airline was known for its reliable service and quality standards. However, after years of financial struggles and mounting debt, Malév was ultimately unable to remain sustainable and had to suspend its operations.
