FlyLAL Charters

  • FlyLAL Charters was a Lithuanian charter airline that operated from 1994 to 2009. It was a subsidiary of Lithuanian Airlines, also known as FlyLAL, and was primarily focused on providing charter and ad-hoc flights to various destinations.
  • FlyLAL Charters had a fleet consisting of Boeing and Airbus aircraft, and it offered services to both leisure and corporate clients. The airline operated flights from Lithuania to popular holiday destinations in Europe, such as Greece, Spain, Italy, and Turkey, as well as to other destinations around the world.
  • Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties and increasing competition in the airline industry, FlyLAL Charters ceased operations in February 2009. The parent company, Lithuanian Airlines, also faced financial troubles and eventually went bankrupt in 2009 as well.
