Eznis Airways

  • Eznis Airways was a privately owned airline based in Mongolia. It was founded in 2006 and operated scheduled domestic and international flights from its hub at Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
  • Eznis Airways primarily served destinations within Mongolia, including cities such as Dalanzadgad, Khovd, and Bayankhongor. The airline also operated international flights to destinations such as Beijing and Hohhot in China, and Irkutsk in Russia.
  • The airline had a fleet of regional aircraft, including Bombardier CRJ200 and CRJ900 planes. Eznis Airways aimed to provide reliable and convenient air travel options for both domestic and international travelers.
  • However, Eznis Airways faced financial difficulties in 2012 and suspended operations. Despite attempts to resume flights, the airline ultimately filed for bankruptcy in 2014 and ceased all operations.
  • Today, Eznis Airways no longer operates as an active airline.
