  • bmibaby was a British low-cost airline that operated from 2002 to 2012. It was a subsidiary of British Midland International (bmi) and operated flights to various destinations in Europe. The airline had its main base at East Midlands Airport in England and also operated flights from other British airports such as Birmingham, Cardiff, and Manchester. However, bmibaby ceased all operations and permanently closed in September 2012 due to financial difficulties faced by its parent company, bmi.
